Summary:
Situated high in the beautiful hills of the department of the Lot, above the village of Concores, lies a superbly converted old, stone built barn, with oak beams, full of charm and character, set in extensive grounds, with fantastic views, particularly from the delightful swimming pool and sun deck, over woods, open fields and countryside.

Ideal for lovers of nature as the wildlife is prolific (binoculars will be found in the kitchen).

The property is extremely spacious with a magnificent lounge, large, homely kitchen / diner, large, sunny bedrooms and with the added facility of a wide mezzanine area suitable for use as another bedroom / study / occasional "quiet" area.

Nestled in the pretty hamlet of Gouléme, the village of Concores is at the bottom of the hill (2kms) where you will find a boulangerie for your morning croissants / bread (a must in France!), a small general store and a tennis court.

St Germain du Bel Air is approximately 5kms distant; a charming village with a supermarket, general shops and Plan d'Eau.

The main town is Gourdon (15kms) which is a medieval market town full of shops, supermarkets restaurants, and pavement cafes.

The property is ideally placed for visiting all the attractions of the virtually unexplored department of the Lot, the beautiful Dordogne region and perfect for a calm, tranquil and peaceful holiday. Highly recommended by Poolside.

Summary:
Le Vigan is a busy little village with all the usual amenities of shops, a boucherie and boulangerie (both quite famous in the area) and its own celebrated restaurant, Le Musee Henri Giron.

The bustling, medieval town of Gourdon is 10 mins drive away, where you will find restaurants, bars and supermarkets. An open air market is held in Gourdon every Saturday morning and another, larger, market 1st and 3rd Tuesdays in the month.

Situated in its own large lawned garden, with a delightful private swimming pool enclosed for safety, it offers peace, tranquillity and is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs beyond which is the rolling French countryside.

Inside this lovely villa, the rooms are of a very high standard, well appointed, tastefully and stylishly furnished, well equipped, beautiful floor tiles throughout and full of sunshine with French doors from all the rooms leading to sunny covered terraces which surround the house.

The charming small towns of Salviac and Cazals are within easy driving distance as are the larger medieval market towns of Sarlat and Gourdon. Prehistoric caves, colourful villages, fairytale chateaux, beautiful rivers and interesting vineyards are not far away and well worth exploring.

A wonderful holiday location for both adults and children and highly recommended by Poolside.

Recently re-furbished and re-decorated to a high standard, this charming house, situated in the tiny hamlet of Nadillac in the virtually unexplored department of the Lot, offers all you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday.

Although most of the house is 200 years old, 10 years ago there were some modern extensions added but it still retains its character.

Conveniently close to the N20, there is neither sight nor sound of the motorway.

At the back of the house you will find a sunny, walled terrace overlooking undulating countryside: ideal for al fresco dining. A pathway leads down to the private swimming pool.

The larger than average secluded garden is full of shrubs and fruit trees and guests are invited to enjoy whatever fruit is in season.
